Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) Presidential candidate, has shared his intentions for the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), if elected.
By guaranteeing stability in the nation’s academic system, Tinubu vowed to stop the ongoing ASUU strikes.
At a campaign gathering for the APC in Damaturu, Yobe State, Tinubu promised to offer loans to college students.
The APC candidate pledged to establish agricultural financing facilities and establish an export zone in the Northeast.
He said: “I will extend the credit facilities to university students as loans. I will make our education system, especially the university education, more stable by dealing with the problem of ASUU strikes. There will be no more strikes in our universities.”
