Shawwal 1444: Muslims To Observe Eid-il-Fitr On Friday After Sighting Crescent

It has been confirmed that the crescent for the month of Shawwal 1444 was sighted in Tumair and Sudair, Saudi Arabia.

Based on this development, tomorrow Friday April 21, 2023 is Eid-Il-Fitr.

JUNGLETALKER understands that Eid-Il-Fitr is a celebration to mark the end of the month of Ramadan and the beginning of Shawaal.

JUNGLETALKER gathered that the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on Wednesday April 19, 2023 on behalf of the Federal Government declared Friday April 21, 2023 and Monday April 24, 2023 as public holidays for the people to celebrate 2023 Eid-Il-Fitri.
