A verified Twitter user identified as Sikiru Obarayese had taken to social media to express his surprise, in the marriage of a man to same twin sisters.
He wrote on his Twitter wall “Man marries Twins on Saturday in Ede, Osun State, Horny of Ede”
Sikiru stated in his write-up that the wedding took place on Saturday, 29 2022 in Ede area of Osun State.
This development however has generated reactions from various social media users on different platforms.
Different Twitter, WhatsApp and Facebook users has taken to their pages to express their opinion regarding the marriage.
A Twitter user identified as ADETAYO OLUWASEGUN wrote “You people should know they are twins sisters and there are story of twins that doesn’t allow each other goes a separate way.”
OLUWASEGUN further commented that, either it makes sense or not, It is an act some Yoruba people believe in.
Another Twitter user named Vicent Ufuoma however criticised the practice, he criticised the family of the couples for allowing such.
Vicent wrote, “Twin sister, bawo🙄 Shey then no get reasonable elder for the family to beat nonsense out of them?”
While some social media users supported the act, some rebuked it and call it a shameful act.
However, as at the time of filing this report, JUNGLETALKER is yet to ascertain if this is true.
