Obinoze Alexander, a 40-year-old Nigerian national, has been taken into police custody in South Delhi, India for the alleged murder of Flora Gold, also a Nigerian citizen. On Friday, April 28, 2023, the victim’s body was found wrapped in bedsheets and concealed in a box bed.
A PCR call was placed by a person who reported a foul smell emanating from a locked flat on the third floor of the Sriman apartment in Maidangarhi. After arriving on the scene, the police were able to gain entry to the flat and discovered the body of Flora Gold wrapped in bedsheets in a box bed in the right side room of the 2 BHK flat.
The owner of the flat rented it out to Obinoze Alexander for Rs 12,000 in December 2021, and after technical surveillance, the suspect was identified and arrested. The police are investigating the motive for the murder and the connection between the suspect and the victim.
