- FG has cleared air over trending declaration of public holiday.
JUNGLETALKER reports that the Federal Government has cleared air over the recent press release made on the public holidays for Christmas and new year.

In a statement on Friday evening by Sola Folasore, the media adviser to the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola said the the public holiday declaration was mistakenly sent to the media without authorisation.
He said: “the public holiday declaration on this platform awhile ago was a draft pending the receipt of approval from The Presidency. It was mistakenly pushed out without authorisation.

“What we do is that we get the statement ready for approval to come and then release it to the public two working days before the holiday.The holiday will be properly declared once approval is gotten. This mix up is so much regretted.
