BREAKING: Buhari Meets Emefiele, Tambuwal, Others Over Scarcity Of Naira Notes

President Muhammadu Buhari met privately with Aminu Tambuwal, chairman of the Nigerian Governor’s Forum, and Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The meeting, which took place at the State House in Abuja, coincided with demonstrations against the scarcity of Naira notes in several regions of the nation.

Atiku Bagudu, the leader of the Progressive Governor’s Forum, Abdulrasheed Bawa, the head of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and Gen. Lucky Irabor, the chief of the defence staff, all attended the meeting at the State House in Abuja.
