On Sunday night, Bandits broke into the Goni-Gora neighborhood in Kaduna State’s Chikun Local Government and abducted a pastor and five other people.
Mr. Shuaibu Ekpa, a local resident, informed a reporter that about 200 am, while still in a deep sleep, he heard the sound of a shooting.
He claimed that as soon as he awoke, he ascended his home’s ceiling till the gunfire stopped.
According to him, as the day grew lighter around seven in the morning and residents were counted, it was discovered that a Pentecostal Church pastor and five other tenants had been abducted.
One of the abducted victims’ wives claimed she hasn’t heard from the abductors since they took them away.
DSP Mohammed Jalige, the Kaduna Police Public Relations Officer, did not return calls for comment and did not reply to texts.
